About me

Hi, I’m Jacque (formally known as Regina Davis) —a painter, storyteller, and passionate art educator based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born in Mexico City, I’ve always been drawn to the quiet emotions that live beneath the surface of everyday life. My oil paintings explore the inner world of women through narrative realism and symbolic, dreamlike imagery. I’m inspired by the vulnerability, strength, and transformation we all carry, and I try to reflect that in every piece I create.

My artistic journey has taken me through formal training at the School of Plastic Arts in Saltillo, Mexico, and countless workshops with master artists in Washington, D.C., New York and beyond. Over the years, I’ve shown my work in museums and galleries across the U.S. and Mexico and Europe, and had the joy of connecting deeply with viewers and collectors alike.

But teaching—teaching is where my heart has truly found a home.

I offer private art lessons in English and in Spanish from my home studio, your studio, online via zoom, or catered to your business venue, where the vibe is cozy, homey, and deeply personal. Sometimes we paint in the garden, sometimes we sit around with coffee and talk color theory. And sometimes we make up a pop up party wherever you choose!

Each class is tailored to the you, the student’s unique style and goals from watercolor to acrylics and oil painting.

This space is about more than just technique. It’s a place to grow, to express, and to create art that feels true to who you are most importantly, to unwind and have fun!
